If you’ve ever tried to clean your piano, you’re probably familiar with the frustration of seeing dust or dirt that you can’t quite get to. Fortunately, we have the proper tools and experience to get to hard-to-reach places, like under the strings on a grand piano, and we can even get dirt and dust out of places in the piano where you haven’t seen.
Piano CLEANING SERVICES
Basic Cleaning: Vertical Pianos ($25)*
This service includes cleaning the key tops, cleaning and polishing the exterior of the piano, and dusting around the tuning pins.
Basic Cleaning: Grand Pianos ($25)*
This service includes cleaning the key tops; cleaning and polishing the exterior of the piano; and dusting the plate, around the tuning pins, and the soundboard under the strings.
Deep Cleaning: All Piano Types ($100)
This service includes everything you would get in a basic cleaning, plus the following:
- removing the action and keys and vacuuming the inside of the piano to remove dust, dirt, and debris
- vacuuming the action, keys, and keybed
- cleaning the soundboard and plate
- removing excess rust from tuning pins and strings (when appropriate)
For pianos that haven’t been touched in years, or have been left in a garage, this service is highly recommended.
*Please note that Basic Cleanings are only available as an add-on service to be combined with other services such as tuning or repairs.

Hi, I’m Tanner Honig. I’ve been a professional piano tuner since 2024, although pianos have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve been a member of the Piano Technicians Guild since 2023, am a Certified Piano Technician, and I am certified to install Dampp-Chaser Piano Life Saver systems.
